you dont need 1000-1000 in halo 3 for the katana?

u just need all skulls and the 2 for 1 achievement

All the skulls give u the pieces of armor of katana set, but to get the sword on your back u need at least 1000 achievement points.
Before it was way harder to get 1000 since there was an overkill and a two in one achievement in lone wolves.
