strong on the inside

ok i am a PS3 owner..but i have played halo...all of them.....and what i dont understand is people make it out to be the greatest thing to ever hit video games.....im not a fan boy but im just saying as a GAMER, halo is just like any other FPS, you run and gun, same objectives,the guns arnt original nor are the vehicles, the story has too many holes and its not that deep of a story nor is it original, and yeah i know your gonna bring up the online game play, which i guess is good not GREAT but good, i mean ill be honest...i do like the ability to have 4 people play on the same system, but goldeneye did that. im just saying its not the greatest game ive ever seen and definetely not the best FPS either......and just for arguements sake....ill bet you didnt know this but Microsoft didnt want halo to be its posterboy nor does it want it to continue to be its posterboy....soo here is my question....do you agree with me? why or why not? what are all the pro's and cons about halo, and why do you think that?

P.S. I am asking this question as a GAMER not a sony user and like i said im not a fan boy OF any system. ok but i will give you that ok now-a-days in the media industry as a whole its very hard to be original with stories and weapons and vehicles and stuff like that.
