Are there more maps for halo 3 than what is on the market place?

I just recently bought halo 3 and xbox live, but now that I want to play online, it is saying that I don't have the required maps to play, but I downloaded the heroic and legendary map packs and the ones of bungie favorites, can some one please help.

You don't have to download the bungie favorites, those are just variants of maps you already have.

You will be able to play pretty much all of the playlists with Heroic and Legendary downloaded. Only one or two require the new Mythic Map Pack.

Be sure you downloaded Cold Storage too. That's a free one bungie gave us.
