Bots On Halo 3 Custom?

Hey i am making a custom map/game and i noticed one of my friends had out bots on there and i didn't know how he did and i haven't been able to find anything related to this. So how do i put bots on?

My friend also has a Bot Ground map, and i'm pretty sure it's a mod dude. Like from the computer. I'm not exactly sure how to do it, my friend's a dick.
