can my internet speed play games like halo 3?

i have the highest hughes net speed which is around 2000kbps down and 500 up and im wondering if that can play games like halo 3 and cod4 online without that much lag?

Im pretty sure it can but if you got lag in the past it was prbly from a crapy graphics Card tts my problem.

really you're internet connection is fine, but it's not really all about internet speed as much as it is about your video/graphics card, processor, etc.

you should be able to, but it all depends on your latency to the server as well as your internet speed
