Can you get legendary map pack achievements on a mythic map in Halo 3?

I got "Defend This" (the achievement where you melee someone with a flag) on sandbox. The description of "Defend This" says it must be done on a legendary map. Does this mean that all the legendary achievements can be done on a mythic map?
