can you play games like halo 3 online with a sliver xbox live card?

im buying an xbox 360 tomarrow and i want to play games like halo3 and gears of war online with my friends does the sliver xbox live card (that they said comes with it) let me play online with other people

You can't play online with other people but you can still do everything else with it such as talk. It has everything Gold has accept being able to play.

no you need the gold and silver dosent come with it atleast it didnt come with mine and but u can still talk and message people but thats all with silver
