can you play Halo 3 new DLC (Legendary map pack) with a buddy or two?

meaning, can i have a few friends over and play on matchmaking with my buddies on the same console. i realize that the DLC is social (not ranked) but can you play with multiple people on a single console on matchmaking

the only way that we have gotten to play the new maps is in custom games or forge.... they are pretty nifty!... =]

yes if they are all signed in as guests to xboxlive. or they could retrieve there gamer tag from xboxlive if they already have one. and if they do have one and they recover it then i am pretty sure that the only thing that they would have to do to get it back to there 360 is recover it at there house.
