gears of war or halo 3?

hey my first time with a 360, i want a really good shooter, ill pick halo3 and gears of war,but can only get 1, which one do u recomend? i played gears of war only and its great.

Depends which you prefer; 1st person shooter or 3rd person shooter? Gears of War is a quality online and very addicting game. Not had experience with Halo as yourself but friends tell me it's great. You can record your own gameplay and take screenshots on it. For now, I wouldn't take the risk - if you like Gears of War get that. When you have a bit more cash, Halo 3 is yours.
