halo 3 forge help plz?

i watched on utube on how to do the flowting glitch and i tryed it but it wont work
i have tryed it on diffrent maps and it still dosent work what is the problem
i havent got xbox live i have had halo 3 for 2 or 3 years

they could have patched it because xbox found out about it and fixed it they did this for call of duty on zombies mode were you can jump in to this spot and the zombies couldnt get to ypu but they have fixed that to lol

maybe its only fake,i know there is no glitches on halo 3
