Halo 3 frozen on cutscene what should i do?

i just got H3 this past x-mas. i started to play the campaign last week on normal. i got to the cut scene where grave mind tells you not to attack him and that he will help you stop the prophet. after that part it should the rings that were being fired up but it froze there. ( i think that was where the cut scene was about to end and u get to play) i could save it on the frozen cuts scene but i couldn't move the chief. it's like a picture just pops up when i select resume solo campaign but it's not really just a picture cuz i can hear the music in the background and i see something spinning under one of the rings.


what should i do? i'm almost done with the damn campaign?

Suck it up and restart the level from the nearest rally point, also , grab a friend and play legendary, much more fun. (if you can do it by yourself you are godly) legendary the difficulty on halo, not the other game.
