Halo 3 Headset?

Hi i just got my xbox 360 and halo today. But i cant get the headset to work help and tell me what to do please! I luv this game and want to play it now.

Do you mean on Live? Yea me and my friends had that same problem... In a Game you have to press the left button on D-pad in order to speak, it lasts until the mic doesn't recognize any sound coming out, the you have to press again to speak. If that isn't working, make sure that it is properly pluged in, the switch is set to on, and there are no frayed wires.

I'm taking a stab here. I don't know if it's your headset but I was watching the news just today and it was being reported that many of the Halo discs were cracked from handling and shipping and that Microsoft intends to replace them. Try your headset with another disc to compare.

uhhhh, plug it up to the controller and put it on ur head, and turn on the controller.
