halo 3 how can i play by myself?

i got my halo 3 today. i'm wondering how you can play with aliens. I don't have live so can i play with aliens other than with campaign?

Y not go online there are mani pros online. You can juz go online then it wil be fun then u will have life.

Nope, there's no "bots" which is the term for computer controlled players in a single player deathmatch game...

But, you can do splitscreen if you invite some friends over...

or you can just play campaign...
