Halo 3, how do I raise my skill level?

I am a level 40 in lone wolves and just won a match by alot, but I didn't raise my skill level to 41. What happened? Do I have to win 2 in a row or something? Thanks!

once you get higher you have to win multiple matches in a row....

I'm a 47 and won like 6 in a row and didn't level up...

wants you get really high in levels its very hard to rank up i think it only goes to level 50 plus besides winning the match you have to have a positve death ratio

just keep playing lone wolves and it should go up. it might be a problem with the bungie server. to check, go on bungie.net and check your gamertag and see all your matches. its just temporary so dont worry about it
