Halo 3: How to get rid of the Sniper rifle scope, instantly, without zooming in?

Hey, guys:

Just wondering... While playing Halo 3 for the XBOX 360, Is their a way to exit the first scope instantly, without having to go into the 2nd scope that zooms in even closer?

You can;
A. Melee
B. Switch Your Weapon
C. Throw a Grenade

If you hold down the thumb stick when you zoom in, and let go, it will zoom back out without having to do that.

Or you can mele or switch weapons too...

You might as we just get used to it, not that big of a deal...

Probably the best way is to switch weapon. Well that's what i do.
