Halo 3 is getting too hard for me? need help?

I think I am getting worse at Halo 3. I need 20 skill and I have 19 skill, its taking me forever to get 20 skill? I am on lone wolves and i keep getting 5th 6th 7th or even last. Is there a way to get better or an easier way to get 20 skill on lone wolves.

The two most important factors are rest and practice. After every hour, take a 15 minute break. If you've been playing Xbox LIVE for hours, you'll get worn out and your ability to react to things would decrease.

Do what others do to you. Camp with the Shotgun, crouch all the time and run around and steal kills. However, most of it's down to luck for instance where you spawn.

Play Custom games with your friends and play Campaign on Heroic/Legendary. Also to get better at sniping, play Team SWAT that helps you with your aiming.
