Halo 3 online: Why isnt anyone talking?

hey, i have been playing halo 3 for a little while, and i was just wondering.... why the **** is noone talking? i mean, im pretty sure my settings are ok, and it all looks good, so why isnt anyone talking? is it like very uncommon to find talkers in halo 3?

because all the halo 3 players are finally realizing that they have wasted their whole life playing a stupid game so they're depressed because if the open there mouth people will tell them to stfu or will be able to tell that the are 40 and living with their mom

You might want to check your mike... play with your friends so you know someone will talk to you

You mean on the headset? Are you sure you're in a game where there are other players? lol unless you mean actually TALKING about stuff, in which case, because they're playing Halo, not taking part in discussion.
