Halo 3 online without hard drive? and 256mb memory card?

i just want to know if i can play online with just the 256mb card i dont want the heroic map packs i know the playlist i can play without the map pack. please just answer my question and dont give me something like other people dont saying something stupid and ignorant

yeah you should be able to play it
the memory is just for things such as map packs and custom made maps
