HALO 3 Ranking up?

i have 366 xp with highest skill 25 and i need 30 to be a major or w/e major grade 2 but... lets say i play with my friends like 2 of them in team slayer or something... after a win with me being mvp and my 2 friends on my team with a 5 game win streak they go up like 1 or 2 highest skills and i dont go up... one time i logged on at my friends and he went up 13 times before i went up once... i think something is messed up with my account because i go up like once a month plz help me on ways to get up and i need one more skull the one where you have to jump through the rings i know the order its 4654534 or something but i never can get it when i jump through them ... well if u can help me get the skull or kno ways to get highest skill up answer this question plz ... my GT is SuperMeyerBros

It's just really hard to level up after your get up to captain. if you want to get your skill up play ranked matches.

when was it around because a couple days ago the halo3 server was hacked and alot of crazy things going on? maybe i can help my GT is TheFallenKid just add me and i might be able to help.
