Halo 3 SWAT tips and tricks?

I want to get better at SWAT on halo 3. Im okay right now im a 22. but im really inconsistant. I can normaly get over 10 kills. And there are times that i do great and get in the low 20'sm with kills. I get a lot of double kills and sometimes a triple but not many overkills. I want to Improve my halo gaming on SWAT so plz give me some tips and tricks and im you want to talk or play together my Gamer Tag is

1. always take cover. never more around unless your sure there aren't any enemies in that area.
2. go with BR. magnums don't have an aimer, and result in slow, worthless bullets.
3. it may not help you, but training by shooting the pop up covenant posters may help you a little.

Hey bro,

I find that in SWAT the best way to kill people is to shot your BR a bit above the head. Aim to put the bottom of the crosshair on the top of the head and he'll go down every time i swear! This is what got me a whoooole lot better at SWAT.

My advice for SWAT would be:
1. Always use the BR as they have a slight bit of zoom and normally can pick out a kill from a long distance away whilst this is a lot more difficult with a magnum
2. Try to avoid running out into open space as then it is very likely that you will be killed over and over again
3. Try to stick to the outskirts/sides of the map and try and figure out peoples respawn points in the map so you know where your targets are likely to show up (on construct for example the "gold lift" as I call it is a popular place and you will probably be killed a lot in that area so instead stay distant but try and get a good aim on that area to pick off people as they pass by
4. Finally try and avoid staying int the same spot the whole game as people will become aware of your location and they will try to pick you off so I would think getting a few kills and then moving on would be best.

Oh and if I'm honest I'm no SWAT expert myself but these tactics tend to work pretty well for me
