halo 3 usercreated content?

can't use usercreated content someone help
I was playing halo 3 and if I want to view a video in theather or play a usercreated map I can't because it says a player in the party can't use usecreated content. Can someone please help me?

Need more information what are you saying Is your halo 3 on a dvd disc ?

it might be because you don't have the necessary maps to play it. do you have everything you can download from xbl for halo 3? i know i couldn't play some games before because i didn't have the legendary map pack.
