Halo 3 won't load the maps when in matchmaking!?

I've had this problem for over a month now and can't figure out how to fix it. I can connect to live, I have choose which match making section to go into. I then can connect to a game and see all the other players, but when loading the map and gametype, it always shows one, then switches to another map and gametype the kicks me back to the screen where I start matchmaking. I've tried 2 different gamertags on my xbox with no success. I've also deleted and redownloaded all my maps from live. I also tried my disc in another person xbox and it worked. I've also played other games on live since then. Any input on how to fix this woudl be much appreciated!

i heard halo3 live isnt doing that good,its getting really bad connections,thats probaly why

try before going to matchmaking go to forge or custon games and select map and load all the maps before entering matchmaking
