When are the new maps coming

The last answer from Bungie is "early next year." If I remember correctly they said sometime in late January or early February, it's going to be three maps released as the "Mythic" map pack and then three new maps released with H3: ODST. And apparently you can get the "Mythic" pack if you purchase Halo Wars when it comes out

There's a date in the Halo3: Recon (now ODST) trailer (sixth of january of thereabouts, seen some screenshots).

i dont think, theres any release dates yet

The new campaign will be available for download sometime in January, and the maps might come to xbox live within the day of the campaigassurease. What I can ashure you is that they will be here soon.
