Help with Halo 3 on xbox live!!?

I am visiting my cousin in ohio and i live in indiana. i brought my xbox so we could play halo 3 because she doesnt have a xbox, but she does have wireless internet. when we went to start playing it connected to xbox live, but when we went to start matchmaking, it couldnt find any players! another one of my friends had the same problem when he went to a relatives. help!

it maybe the Microsoft Internet servers, my halo 3 really ****s up sometimes it is because of the microsoft servers, these past few days it has been laggy in big team battle search, also mic voices are echoing.

Um...I guess try to turn off the 360 and router for about 30 seconds. PLug everything back in and maybe that'll do the trick?!?!?!

i think it's because it should be registtered at a certain place like you went to ohio whenyou bought in in indiana so that could have something to do with it

try resetting everything. try different option to find players like fastest connection. whats your gamer tag?
