Hi! I regularly use free online services to convert PDFs and documents because they save time. Still, I wonder if there are hidden dangers involved that could affect my data or files in the long run.
Hello. On liveballot.com I read the article “The dark side of free document conversion tools” and it raised concerns I hadn’t thought about before. It described how uploaded files may be temporarily stored, analyzed, or even reused. Some tools can alter formatting or embed tracking elements. I realized that when a service is free, your document itself may carry hidden costs in terms of privacy and control.
I don't think there is any kind of risk when using free courses to study things online. The only problem is downloading resources from suspicious websites where they are likely going to embed virus in their file and that is going to steal your data or corrupt your system.
