How are the multiplayer matches on Halo 3 when you hit Rank/Skill 50?

Im at rank 15 at lone wolves.. was just wondering if the competition gets tougher or pretty much stays the same as you get better?

I love how the system works.. i actually know if i make progress..

but, i came to wondering how 50 gameplay is? Does everyone just camp and wait till someone Fuxs up like ive read or is it generally the same as every other skill except more experienced people?
