I purchased Halo 3 nearly a year ago. Well since then, Xbox, MS, or Bungie has decided it necessary to make me pay an additional $10 for some maps that I will hardly ever use in matchmaking, or not be able to play ranked playlists.
I called customer service and spoke with 3 total agents, the last of which was the resolution agent.
His resolution, "pay the $10 or don't play that portion of the game"
What a load!
I want to know how to get a refund for the game that used to work before they crippled it, and for the previous ransom that I paid in order to continue playing before.
(I wouldn't rule out them paying for the maps since that would give me what I really want, to be able to play ranked playlists again)
Thanks for the ideas and any solutions that you may have.
By the way, has anyone else taken a stand on this atrocity and gotten a satisfactory outcome, or is MS too big to be bothered by an individuals patronage? (yeah, I know $10... big whoop! Well, thats $10 of MY money, thats the 'big whoop!')
I just filled out a complaint with the FTC. We'll see where that takes us.
