How do I get more skill points in Halo 3?

I have 85EXP points but only 15 skill points...What do I have to do to get more skill points???

Also how does the skill, EXP points work? how do you gain points i.e. by killing other players, winning matches, achievements or what?

throw halo 3 in the bin and play cod4 u will get loadsss of points then

there is only one way to get points. Play kill ppl win that's about it. and what can you do with your points NOT A DARN THING get a higher rank make many Friends that's about it

Well I dont think they're called skillpoints, but anyway you get them by killing players(more XP if you can kill high leveled players a lot), and I think, but can't remember if you get any from winning, but pretty sure you.

P.S. You can lose XP to if you keep getting killed over and over again, or if you continue to lose matches.
