How do i get my highest skill up on halo 3?

Ok, watever i seem to do on halo 3 now my highest skill wont go up in the last 20 minutes ive played 12 halo 3 ranked team slayer matches and won 11 and it still dosent go up, its driving me insane!

You have to win a lot of matches and u have to do good in all of them like get a lot of kills and getting MVP's help. also if u get like killing sprees,frenzys and higher stuff that helps too
