how do I get my skill higher in Halo 3?

Im a captain grade 2 and my highest skill is 25. I need to raise it up to 30/200 experience points. I'm at 203 exp and I need to raise up to level 30 so I won't be captain grade 3. How do I raise up my skill higher?

you have to play more in the game type that you are a level 25 in and you will gain levels faster by being first on your team. If it is a team related game. you lose levels if you lose games it might take one or 2 games but you will see.

the other 2 people must have never played before because playing alot more will do what your trying not to do. If you want to get your skill higher the only thing you can do is get better. That's why they're skill points you have to have skill to get them. take first or second in the games you play to raise them or maybe you just reached your level. playing alot won't raise the level only give you experience and like you said you don't want to be a captain g3
