how do i make a clan on halo 3?

Me and my friends just wanted to make a clan on halo 3. Can anyone help?

There is no automated clan feature on Halo 3. If you want to a clan tag you're just going to have to pay M$ points for a gamertag change

Clans are not supported. But what people have done is made a dummy xbox silver account, and added the "clanmembers" to the dummy accounts friends list. so whenever you look at the dummy account's profile, you can just look at the friends of that account, and those are your clanmembers. Thats the quickest way to organize a game, and you can have everyone use the same logos to represent the clan.
