how do i un-ban my skill level from the halo 3 "banhammer"?

I helped one of my friends boost twice, and im not sure if i have been skill banned. I think I am because I am a level 46 on team doubles, and I keep winning games, but I dont ever get to a 47.

Have I been skill banned, and how do I know if I have?

Is there any way that I can un-ban myself if I happen to be skill banned?

once the ban timpe period is up you can start leveling up i saw it on www.bungie.net on a banning article for different time periods for different kinds of cheating

I'm pretty sure you can't un-ban yourself in any case.
