I play Halo3 when I have a little bit of time, I hate getting stuck but have no clue how to throw them...Someone please help. I've looked online for the past hour!

How do you throw plasma grenades on Halo 3!?

left trigger, throws grenades. depending on what button lay out you use, uh, the button in the L1 position changes grenades between the kinds you have.
swap your button layout to bumper jumper. its way better, and puts melee and jump on the L1 and R1 positions. swap grenades becomes a and reload becomes b (when you dual wield, a is left reload and b is right reload)

When you are playing online, look on the either top-right or top-left of the screen. You should see 4 icons with numbers by them. The last 2 usually have 0. When you are not dual-wielding guns, you can switch grenades by pressing the left-bumper button. And then you throw them as you would frag grenades.
