how I will like to know how I can get high skill on up on halo 3 I'm in skill 8 how I can get to skill 10 thanks to answer my question

You need to win ranked games, and in a row to boost it up.
team slayer
swat
snipers
lone wolves
team doubles
ranked games

You can get your skill up in any ranked or hardcore game types. (and occasionally in a double exp weekend game type) You receive one skill for every match you win (in a free for all game type it comes from getting first place)

The most practical way to earn a highest skill is to just play lone-wolves to earn it, because you can get skill and achievements at the same time. However, many people find either playing ranked team slayer, or hardcore SWAT to be the easiest.
