I just got xbox live and idk how to get the voice to work through the headset. wat all do i have to do to use headset

how to get voice to work on halo 3?

Well you have to plug in the little headphone looking cord onto the bottom of your controller (depending on what type of mic you have im assuming the new one). Than there will be this little switch in the middle of the cord that you can push up or down. I'm not exactly sure which one is on and which one is off though. The little dial on the side is the volume control. Thats all you should need to know.
