i am getting a ps3 but i like the game halo so is there a ps3 game like halo 3 ?

i was going to get xbox 360 but rrod scares even though i like xbox 360. so i decided to get ps3 and is there any game on ps3 that is like halo. or are the 360s not getting as much failure rate now
ps. what is the xbox 360 elite failure rate after christmas or now
pss should i get 360 or ps3
