I cannot play two player on Xbox live in halo 3 matchmaking?

I had code for 48 hour trial I used it on one of my profiles. When finished I went to xbox live matchmaking. I could use the profile with xbox live to play but when i play two player on the guest profile as well, it says it does not have the gold membership, but surely this should not matter if the profiles already has xbox live. Thanks

u cant play with a guest on ranked matches.

if what your saying is that it says the guest does not have a gold membership then here is what wrong:
guests are not allowed to play in ranked playlists, however they are permitted in social playlists, try social slayer and see if that works
