I don't get why people like Halo 3?

I have like 50 freaking days played on CoD4, and finally decided to give Halo 3 a shot. I don't understand why so many people love it so much.

I think I was only in the Basic training games, but is it always in moon gravity?

Also, do you always just have to pick up guns on the maps?

It's not near as good as CoD4 but it is a decent game. I personally liked Halo 2 much better. And yes the hight jump felling is always on lol.
