I Play halo 3 but my ranking and exp wont go up?

When i play it just wont go up what do i do i play lone wolvess and my exp is 6 still it just wont go up

You have to actually kill people to get more experience. If you just run around like a noob and get blasted straight up over and over again you're going to stay where you are.

you could be exp banned, remember only the top 4 get exp and its possible to gain exp but not have your rank go up
