if i download the halo 3 maps can i?

so i want to download the maps for halo 3 the ones that cost 800 microsoft points and the one that cost 600 if i buy them can my brother play them on his account if i download it on my account?the accounts are on the same console.

Yes, both accounts will be able to use them regardless of which account purchased it. I know this because I bought them on my profile (Pracht120) and my brother (GhettoGecko120) was able to play them on his even if I was not signed in. I would also recommend getting the heroic map pack as it is free.

yes he can but if you recover it on another xbox and the other xbox doesn't have the maps and you download them again only that account may play on those maps only the original xbox that it was can have any account play the maps oh and if you download them again you don't have to pay so ya
