In Halo 3, how do you get the Katana?

I have gotten every single achievement, even the ones allowed currently with the Mythic Map Pack after you pre-order Halo Wars, but I still don't have the Katana!! Please help!! How do I get it? I was under the impression that all you have to do is get the original 49 Halo 3 achievements, and those added up to 1000 G.

change your armour

Yes, that is all you are supposed to do. Did you select it? Sounds obvious, but you have to change your armor (same place you change your emblem and stuff).

Did you get all the skulls?

If you did then just change the armor.
