In my case, when I come back to the game, it reverts back to a save point from a mission I already passed (the most annoying case was when it made me go back 3 missions when I had already finished all of the main way points). The last time that this happened, I exited the game to the title screen and decided to just select the latest mission I was in. When I did that, it made it so that I have to pass all the other missions AGAIN! Can anyone tell me what is going on?
