Is it worth buying the Mythic Maps for Halo 3 right now?

Well i want the maps because i cant play some of the playlists and i need the achievements. But i heard that Halo 3 ODST will let you play the maps from halo3. Will they let me play those maps for free on ODST, or do i have to buy them?
but in order to get the halo 3 achievements i have to buy the mythic pack right, even though ODST has them for free...???

I'm pretty sure Halo ODST will come with the maps. Meaning if you haven't got them now, then its worth waiting for ODST.

No don't buy the maps, the Halo 3 ODST game comes with a separate disc that comes with all the map packs plus three additional maps, and it will allow you to play Halo 3 multi-player. Plus you get a whole new campaign, and the new mode called Firefight which is similar to Gears of War 2's Horde Mode.
