Yes there is quite a bit more blood and gore in the story mode because the aliens and flood are both filled with tons of it and let it out every time they get shot =D

I dont think there is alot of blood in the story mode, i think they rated it M because they cuss alot.

yes, there is a lot of blood, however, a lot of it is animated. Most of the covenant have purple of green blood. I don't know why the game is rated M, I think it could pass for a rated T game.
