Left 4 Dead 2 or Halo 3: ODST?

Which one should I get and why? (If I get ODST I will be pre-ordering the limited edition version).

I was thinking L4D2 because i loved the first one, the game play looks amazing, I love the style of graphics, and you can never get bored of slaying hordes of zombies.

Now with ODST I was really excited about FireFight mode, and i love the background behind the game, but I felt that because I have disowned Halo 3, that I would do the same with ODST.

hmm..you sound like me, kinda over the whole halo franchise...halo 3 was kinda disappointing, the story was really bad...i have had some fun in the forge though, people make some crazy cool maps..apparently the Firefight mode is coop only , meaning there is no matchmaking, so if you only know 1 or 2 people getting ODST you will never get a chance to play Firefight very often...the campaign looks really good this time, the story and pacing seem interesting...also, there is no real ODST multiplayer, so the matchmaking is just Halo 3 maps (i think there will be a few new maps though)..this might be good for you since you never bought halo 3 or any of the over priced map packs

if i could only get one i would get l4d2, but i can get whatever i want so i am of course getting both
