Making a clan in Halo 3?

I have people and a name. How do I make it offical? I want to be able to also have the "Gear" sign next to our GTs so that it can show that we are in a clan.

To have a gear you must goto bungie.net and register there and goto edit profile then at the bottom click the slot saying show 7th column on xbox live. good luck peace.

im pretty sure tthat the "gear" is the symbol when you link your gamertag
