Need help with Halo 3!?

Ok so I just finished playing Halo 3 on Heroic, but I want to play it again on Legendary so I can unlock more acheivements. Now even though I have finished playing it still says, Resume Solo Game. I just don't know what to do. I've tried everything icluding: looking at the instructions manual; clicking Resume Solo Game and doing that over and over again; And MORE!!! WHAT DO I DO?!?

well go to custom game if i remember correctly since i dont have h3 on atm, and switch the playlist to campaign or coop or somthing close to that choose level and difficulty. There you go

LOL no offense. okay anyway the that is because you still have a last checkpoint. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS SIMPLY GO ON CAMPAIGHN INSTEAD OF RESUME AND IT WILL ASK YOU IF YOU ARE SURE 'CAUSE YOU WILL LOSE YOU LAST CHECKPOINT AND YOU SAY YESS THEN YOU CAN CHOOSE ANY LEVEL AND DO IT ON LEGENDERY THEN GO ON THE NEXT ! If you use this and it works which i promise it will please select this as best answer.

just click matchmaking..switch lobby..campaign..go to mission; select "Arrival"..then go to difficulty and change your difficulty.
