On halo 3, what does highest skill level mean? ?

Halo 3 bases its ranking system in each playlist on a 1-50 scale 1 being the lowest of course..... so if you play a certain playlist such as team doubs or team slayer for example your skill will increase each time you win. With every win you increase your chance of getting to the next level. say 1 to level 2 for example. If you win against good opponents your skill will increase more quickly than if you beat a lower opponent. if you want to know where you can find your highest skill just view your service record the next time your playing halo 3
and you can do that for any player including yourself. sorry if that was vague but hope it helps a little bit. And if all else fails check out bungie.net or a youtube vid. Those are usuallly pretty handy. ^_^

The highest skill level is for when you play online so for example if you were to play team slayers for a rank and not just for fun you would go up in ranks for each game you win. then if your highest skill is 5 then you rank goes up to 6 then your highest skill will be 6. in other words if you are playing ranked games your highest skill, will be the highest rank you have in any ranked game modes

Legendary? that means that all the enemies are freaking hard to kill. but if you complete the game on that setting, you get a cool prize.
