What button to press to jump on Halo 3?

I just got Halo 3. How do you jump?

The "A" button is how you jump.

You do know, you can open the booklet you got with the game and it will tell you what each button does and explain each action?
And thats not just for halo - thats EVERY game! Silly sill.

the "A" button ( the green button that is at the bottom of the 4 diagonal coloured letter buttons) there are also special, more-complicated-then-needs-to-be ways of jumping.
