i bought this Halo 3 from some guy and i just saw the NTSC on the game box. What does that mean? does it mean i can't play on xbox live? i live in the united states, so does that mean i can only play against people in US?
NTSC has to do with the screen resolution. TVs in US and Japan use NTSC, while European TVs use PAL.
Games come out in NTSC-U, NTSC-J and PAL versions. I'm guessing you have a NTSC-U version, so you can only play this game on an American Xbox. if you buy an European or Japanese one, you can't play that disk, but would have to buy a PAL or NTSC-J one.
